SnoutBot Terms of Service

Welcome to SnoutBot! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the SnoutBot Discord Bot and related services. By using SnoutBot, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue using the bot immediately.

1. Use of the Bot

SnoutBot is provided to enhance your Discord server with features such as moderation, automation, and entertainment. The use of SnoutBot is subject to the following restrictions:

• You may not misuse or abuse the bot, including spamming commands or attempting to exploit vulnerabilities.

• You must not redistribute or modify SnoutBot, either publicly or privately, without our permission. SnoutBot is governed by the same licensing rules as outlined in our License.

• You may not use SnoutBot for illegal or malicious activities. Any use that violates Discord's Terms of Service or applicable law is strictly prohibited.

2. Forking and Modifications

As outlined in our licensing terms, forking the bot's code is only allowed for the purpose of contributing back to the original project. Unauthorized public or private forks, modifications, or independent usage of the bot outside of contribution efforts will result in the termination of access and potential legal action.

3. Availability

SnoutBot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for any downtime, bugs, or errors encountered during usage.

4. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to SnoutBot at our discretion, including but not limited to the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms.

• Unauthorized modifications or redistribution of the bot.

• Engagement in prohibited activities, such as malicious behavior or harassment.

Termination of service includes but is not limited to revoking access to the bot and its features, banning users from utilizing SnoutBot, and reporting violations to Discord.

5. User-Generated Content

Any content generated or submitted by users through SnoutBot remains the responsibility of the individual user. You agree that SnoutBot and its maintainers are not liable for any inappropriate or unlawful content generated using the bot. Users are expected to follow all applicable Discord and local rules.

6. Liability

SnoutBot and its maintainers are not responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of using the bot. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, server issues, or disruptions caused by the bot’s functionality. Use of SnoutBot is at your own risk.

7. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time, and you will be notified of any significant changes via our Discord server or website. Your continued use of the bot after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
