OpenMediaVault Guide

Prerequisites

• You need a computer, atleast with 1GB ram and atleast 4GB Storage

  • (i recommend having more that one disc, 3 or more, but you can use 1, tho its riskier)

• A USB DRIVE (ALL DATA ON THE USB WILL BE WIPED)

• Ethernet Cable, It is needed to be able to access the NAS from your computer
  
  
  

Instalation

Donwloading the ISO and burning it onto the USB Drive

1. Download the ISO file from the OpenMediaVault Website

2. Download a program called RUFUS

3. Plug in your USB Drive into your computer

4. Now do these steps in RUFUS

   1.

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

**You need a USB drive** (Careful, all data on it will be gone)

You need to download the ISO from their website

once you do that, download this program: https://rufus.ie

Then in *Rufus*:

1. Launch the .exe
